I am an artist, jewelry designer, metalsmith and G.I.A. certified gemologist living in Orange County, CA. I studied jewelry design and metalsmithing at California State University - Long Beach and graduated with a BFA in 3D-Media with an emphasis in metal. After graduation, I continued my education at the Gemological Institute of America - Santa Monica and graduated from the resident gemologist program for gemology, colored stone grading, and diamond grading. I have been designing and creating jewelry for 25 years.

"My formal fine art and design education included many traditional mediums such as sculpture, woodworking, drawing, painting, and photography and that diverse experience provided the basis for a unique approach to jewelry design.
Jewelry is wearable art that sends a message of non-verbal communication about the owner. My creations lie at the intersection of storytelling, craftsmanship and technology and feature rich surface patinas, unusual textures, detailed precision, and a wide range of materials. I was highly influenced by three wonderful professors that believed that good design and composition outweigh materials and precious materials alone do not equate value. "
